Custom Floating Jack-Up Barge. Equipped with a John Deer Diesel Motor to Operate a 15-Ton Turntable
For sale is a Custom Bulit 30' x 11' jack-up barge with 20' spuds (8" x 8" Legs) to elevate or stabilize the entire platform while working.
It is built out of 3/8' steel for the bottom, 3/8' steel for the deck and 1/4' steel for the sides. The barge has two access ports and has heavy ribs in the hull for strength.
It is heavy and built for heavy-duty use. It was built at an 11' width so it can be roaded when needed. Height of deck to bottom is 3'.
It includes a Diesel Del Mag 6 engine made by John Deere It produces 110 hp. It has low hours due to minimal usage.
The diesel engine runs the turntable which is a 15-ton Gallion Turn Table from a crane. The engine also runs the hydraulics including the arm. The arm is designed to hold a pile-driving hammer, but it can accommodate any hammer or dip hammer. THE PILE DRIVER IN THE PICTURES IS NOT INCLUDED.
A pile driving hammer is available form an outside vendor for a D6-32 Hammer $23,777.65 includes hammer, direct drive sleeve and reducer screw.
The barge has an 8,000 lb lifting winch. With pulleys, it can go up to 60,000 lbs. The barge has a small crane capable of reaching out in to 20 feet. The barge had a recent bottom job with fresh paint.
